Abstract—In today’s data-centric environment, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) have fundamentally transformed Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics, leading to innovative trends, techniques, and opportunities. This research paper examines critical AI technologies that enhance BI capabilities, emphasizing areas such as Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics, Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Text Analytics, Computer Vision, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). The integration of these technologies with BI systems empowers organizations to derive actionable insights, automate processes, and make informed decisions with remarkable accuracy and efficiency. Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics are crucial for advancing BI, offering advanced tools for forecasting and identifying patterns within extensive datasets. NLP and Text Analytics enable the extraction of valuable information from unstructured data, allowing businesses to understand customer sentiment, automate customer service, and improve decision-making processes. Computer Vision broadens BI capabilities to include visual data analysis, supporting applications such as quality control, surveillance, and inventory management in various industries. RPA, when combined with AI, automates repetitive tasks, thus streamlining operations and enhancing productivity. By leveraging the Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Data, businesses can increase their resilience and adaptability in an ever-changing market. The paper also discusses the role of advanced AI models, such as ChatGPT, in augmenting BI by providing intelligent data interpretations and improving human-machine interactions. The insights presented highlight the transformative potential of AI in reshaping the future of Business Intelligence..
